ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Based in the Northern Rivers of Australia, I am a self-taught ceramic artist whose practice defies repetition. Working entirely by hand—coiling and painting each piece—I create sculptures and homewares that reflect the ever-shifting landscape of inspiration around me.
My work is deeply responsive. No two collections are alike, as each body of work emerges from what moves me in that moment—whether it's the subtropical environment I call home, an internal state of mind, or the unpredictable journey of creative exploration. This refusal to fit the same mould twice is central to my practice; I'm continually growing, experimenting, and following where curiosity leads.
While my sculptural work varies dramatically in subject and theme, my homewares embrace a wabi-sabi aesthetic—celebrating the beauty of imperfection and the honest character of natural clay bodies. I incorporate the raw, unglazed clay itself into the design, letting the material speak for itself.
Though trained on the wheel, I chose to abandon it entirely. Every piece I create is hand-coiled, a meditative process that allows for organic forms and intimate connection with the clay. Each vessel, sculpture, and object bears the mark of my hands.
